Ten eGen 600 models were commissioned for use earlier this year as a power supply system for the Malaysian military. The setup provided power for lights in this food supply carriage; as well as a 240V power supply for any electrical appliance needed. One which would be used is a water pump to water to the storage tank within the carriage.

Since the eGen is portable, it can be carted easily with two personnel out of the carriage and used as a mobile power supply as and when needed. The noiseless and emission-free characteristics of the eGen is essential in a battle training environment. The eGen can be easily recharged overnight when the food supply carriage is returned back to HQ for replenishing of its supplies and be ready for action the next day.
